The Friendship Centers have several registered nurses on staff who provide
health services for Emmet County seniors age 60 and over. Please call for
pricing information, times and dates services are offered.
Key Services
- Blood Pressure Clinics - offered weekly in Petoskey and monthly in
Alanson and Pellston.
- Foot Care - offered by appointment in Petoskey and surrounding areas.
- Lab Work - Lipid Profile, PSA level for men, Blood Sugar (fasting)
offered monthly in Petoskey by appointment.
- Risk of Fall Prevention Assessment Clinic - offered every other month at
the
Petoskey Center by appointment with a Northern Michigan Hospital Physical
Therapist.
- Hearing Screening - offered by appointment every other month at
alternate sites in Emmet County.
- Flu and Pneumonia Vaccination Clinics - offered seasonally by
appointment.
- Prescription Enrollment Assistance - offered to assist with the cost of
prescription medications.
- Registered Nurse Services In-Home / Private Duty Services - include foot
care, medication set-up, phlebotomy services, vitamin B-12 injections and
more.
- Therapeutic Massages - offered monthly in Petoskey & Pellston by Certified Massage
Therapists.
